Does your carpet require repair? Are you willing to repair your carpet by yourself? Then, it’s necessary to learn the materials and tools you may require for your repair. On materials, you require; carpets, an empty can, single-sided carpet tape and masking tape.
The carpet is for cutting the repair patch while the empty can is for marking a circle on the carpet and on the repair piece. The single sided tape is for fixing the patch on to the carpet while the masking tape is used to mar the direction of the nap during the process. You will need all of these materials to do the best carpet repair job. On the tools, we have; gloves, utility knife markers and scissors. The knife is used to cut both the damaged area and the patch while the scissors is used to trim the fibers after fixing the patch.
